The very young musician from Bologna, who for some months is violinist at the Teatro alla Scala, plays for the public in Milan with an ambitious repertory that opens with the most celebrated and majestic Sonata by Beethoven, inspired by the novella of the same name by Leo Tolstoy.

The Amici della Galleria d'Arte Moderna with the Associazione Piero Farulli celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Quartetto di Venezia.

As part of a dialogue between artists and the arts, proposed by the Amici della Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Milan, the concert by the Quartetto di Venezia will be a special opportunity for the quality of the performers and the pure itinerary of the program (Adagio and Fuga in C minor K 546 by Mozart and Quartetto op. 131 in C diesis minor by Beethoven), and in eloquent counterpoint to the grand Italian instrumental school and tradition. The Quartetto di Venezia is the grateful heir of the historic musical and moral lesson of the Italian quartet, even though it has been able to evolve its own taste and musical curiosities, constantly developed over the prolific thirty years of concerts. Milan becomes Piano City: an intense weekend where music (with over 300 concerts) will resound in the most unusual places, with concerts of all kinds, from classical to jazz, from contemporary to easy sounds. In particular, on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 the Modern Art Gallery will host many concerts, and the back garden of the Villa Reale will be open to the public as a spectacular location for performances.
