Exhibition opening hours
Tuesday – Sunday    9:00 am – 7:30 pm (last admission one hour before closing time)
Closing days: 25 December, 1 January, Easter Monday and 1 May

•  Reduced-price ticket  €  8.00
•  Special reduced-price ticket  € 5.00
Tuesday – Sunday from 4:30 p.m. onwards admission allowed only to the exhibition with a € 5.00 ticket to the exhibition.
Special € 5.00 reduced-price ticket (with admission allowed to the museum until 4:30 pm) on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 2:00 pm onwards and every first Sunday of the month.


Buy your tickets online (no processing fee) at or at the Museum’s ticket office, by bank card or credit card. 


The following people are entitled to free admission:
•    children up to 12 years of age
•    journalists
•    ICOM members
•    tourist guides and interpreters accompanying groups (upon production of a valid licence)
•    disabled people
•    school groups accompanied by a teacher and/or tour guides
•    holders of the Museums Lombardy Milan subscription
•    holders of the Musei Civici Milanesi subscription (cumulative 3-day ticket)
•    Esselunga coupon holders


The following people are entitled to a special reduced-price ticket (€ 5.00):
•    children between 12 and 18 years of age
•    people accompanying disabled persons
•    officials of the State Superintendences and peripheral bodies of the Ministry
•    members of the association Amici della Galleria d'Arte Moderna Villa Reale di Milano - onlus


The following people are entitled to a reduced-price ticket (€ 8.00):
•    adults over 65 years of age
•    students from universities and Academies of Fine Arts
•    employees of the Milan municipal administration
•    EU citizens between 18 and 25 years of age; the same reduction applies to nationals of non-EU countries "on condition of reciprocity".
•    holders of Coop Lombardia, Trenord, Ferrovie dello Stato, Atm cards
•    employees of Intesa SanPaolo (upon production of a valid identification document)
•    holders of tickets to the exhibition "Canova|Thorvaldsen. The birth of modern sculpture" at the Gallerie d'Italia
For Musei Civici Milanesi  Season Tickets

The Cumulative Ticket offers free admission to all Civic Museums for three days (one admission to each Museum) and is on sale online (no processing fee) and at Museum ticket offices for € 12.00. These tickets can also be purchased electronically and downloaded directly onto smartphones and tablets without printing.
