Access for Visitors with Hearing Disabilities
Thanks to Association a.l.f.a. Onlus - Associazione Lombarda Famiglie Audiolesi Onlus - which in 2015 has produced the project "Museums Expo. The accessibility of civic museums in Milan for people with hearing disabilities", in GAM have been activated some facilities for the access of visitors with hearing difficulties.
To make feel more confortable persons who use hearing aids, or cochlear implant, at the ticket office has been installed a magnetic induction system ("Telecoil" ). For the purchase of tickets and for information requests the visitor has to switch the hearing aid to "T" (telecoil).
